M155 by orcbruto M155 by orcbruto
So here is the anti-material rifle from :iconthe-last-dragon-kni:

I took some inspiration in the Barrett M99, for the "hammerhead barrel". Here are the specs:

------------------------------------------------------------------
The M155

Class: Anti Material Rifle

Ammo: .50 BMG

Damage Per Hit: 175 + 50 Explosive

Damage Per Second: 450

Spread: 1/2 inch per 1000 yards

Description: A Very powerful Rifle firing only Explosive rounds, It uses a floating barrel design to help with Recoil. It comes stock with a modified spotters scope to allow Over two mile shots. Its rounds hit like trains and explode on impact. Creating enormous impact cavities usually killing the target instantly. The Gun Must be fired prone, There is no firing it kneeling or standing up. It weighs a hefty thirty pounds and is usual a stationary emplacement.

Health: 4000 (2500 shots)

Mag: 10 round Box

Mods: Springs: Reduces recoil by a massive Margine

still looks painful to fire. Despite much of the recoil being distributed by the floating barrel design and springs incorporated into the rifle, which is hard to see, i would think there would still be recoil. Cool design though, if albeit looking awkward to fire due to how close the stock and trigger are. Unless its an extending one?

Yap, it extends. There are side rails for the stock to retreat... but still as the description says, its impossible to fire it standing or crouching, unless you have it fixed to a vehicle or hardpoint...

I like it, but I have to ask, why the circle around the handle?

The shinning light shows the amount of ammo, it turns red when the bullets are being fired until the circle is completely red (empty magazine).

Also its a support for the handle and trigger, but its mainly to look cool, and to be like the other guns from the same series =D

nice thoe i think a bullpup design would be more user friendly and ezer to carry around and use on the move.

Is it? I don't like bullpup, looks a bit weird to me. And for a gun designed to be fired prone, it would put the stock too up for the shooter shoulder =D
