Here is another challenge my friend Cole Jones
gave to me. A laser Light Machine Gun
This Class V laser can direct a rapid pulsing beam of light capable of cutting a 12mm steel plate at 5km distance. Because of the energy needed, it uses a big and heavy Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, located were ammo magazines would go in an usual LMG.
The stock is adjustable, and as the weapon have no recoil, its just a matter of comfort for the shooter. The Laser LMG also have a visor mounted in side, that can generate a 3D image, highlight heat sources (animals, enemy soldiers, engines...), provide night vision and measure distances and velocity of targets, correcting the shoot to hit them easier.
