The Ignis HDM - 1 (Heavy Duty Minigun) is a fearsome gun that only soldiers in power armor can properly use. Often they are mounted in fixed positions or vehicles, but an armored soldier or cyborg can make better use of it.
The main gun is a 3-barrel minigun that fires 14.7 x 140mm shells at mach 10 speed. An electric motor under the grip makes the gun rotate more than 50 times per second, turning it into an fearsome whirlwind of fire.
Under the barrel there can be attached a 50 x 95mm grenade launcher, for angular bombardment, indirect fire and destruction of doors and armored vehicles. The launcher can be detached and used by regular soldiers or cyborgs with more than two arms. Fixed or vehicle attached HDM-1 cannot make proper use of the grenade launcher as the firing arch is compromised by the vehicle or weight of the gun.
