This is the ERCC (Earth Refugee Colonization Corporation) tactical helmet. After the 4th World War and the complete annihilation of all life on Earth, the last humans fled to Mars, and built the ERCC as a central government of the refugees.

The helmet features some advanced technologies. The titanium cap is reinforced by carbon nano-tube plates. The user doesn't "see" directly thru lens, the helmet capture images by 4 cameras located in the sides of the head, filter harmful and intense lights and shows in a 3D screen the images. It can also show a HUD and open computer images (chat screens, other cameras...), show infrared or ultraviolet filtered images and create images by vibration.

The structure in front of the mouth is a powerful radio transmitter, capable of sending the user voice by quark/tachion technology, allowing instant connection with planets dozens of light-years away.
