Devastator IDLA

asked for artillery fire, and there it is, the Devastator Infantry Deployed Light Artillery.

This heavy gun can be easily disassembled in three parts and transported by soldiers across difficult terrain. A single soldier can carry the weapon disassembled, but its quite heavy to be carried without an impact in the soldier stamina and speed.

Mounted it can be adapted to different angles for indirect fire, counting on a computer to make calculations for it.

The gun fires 50mm shells with solid hit, incendiary or air burst capabilities. The Devastator have a series of openings in the back to dissipate most of the recoil, allowing it to be fired safely from tripods and bipods without hurting the shooters or the aim. It doesn't dissipate all the recoil though, and the gun should not be fired from a unstable ground or with a improvised support.

The gun weights 30kg (each part weight 10kg) and have a range of 40km (angle fire).
