:iconaapur: asked me to make some of his guns in Sketchup, and this is the first he asked me, the Darkerbane. Its a reinforced enormous caliber (.75 cal) sniper rifle that fires radioactive bullets with plutonium tip.

In the hands of a human, it means cancer, radioactive burns and a broken arm (.75 cal may have a recoil like a hammer blow!). Its probably fit for aliens or dragons...

Very VERY Badass rifle though plutonium Wouldnt be even my last choice unless your making giant shredder rounds. DU Depleted uranium rounds? Those i would use. They are insanely heave and strong.

Also. I LUV THE GLOWER TIPS!

Plutonium wont do anything,Its way to soft.what you where thinking of was uranium and depleted uranium at that, not radio active uranium because it gets to its dense heavy state when its depleted. And the whole reason of making rounds or tipping them with a radio active material such as uranium is the impact it has because of the weight. When its depleted its not radioactive any more. You wouldn't need that for human or soft targets anyway,It would pass right through. You would need a hollow point or a round that tumbles in the target such as the .223 and 5.56 that our military uses today.

Well, being soft, plutonium tips would smash themselves against the targets, providing radioactive burns and poisoning =D

I guess the goal was more to spread a harmful substance against a target than really pass thru it =D

Plutonium tips will increase your penetration but is there really any point in a bullet that causes cancer? Surely the main considerations would be the trauma, organ damage and blood loss associated with being shot.

You want your enemy out of the fight immediately; no-one should be caring about getting them cancer in a decade's time by which point the war they were shot in is probably over. Also, you'd probably be giving cancer to your own people who are lugging these rounds about all the time.

Hehehhe, plutonium is not just cancerigen, but generates radiation and its highly flammable... They are sniper dragonbreath rounds =D
