Aerial Hunter Killer UAV by orcbruto Aerial Hunter Killer UAV by orcbruto
The Aerial Hunter Killer Unmanned Aerial Vehicle is a light helicopter with two side-placed rotors and a smaller one in the back to stabilize flight. It can be remotely controlled or act by a standard AI, seeking enemy targets and eliminating them.

The AHK is armed with a modified Gatling minigun, three air-to-ground rockets and three air-to-air HT missiles. It have a radar, an infrared detector, to sets of cameras (one in the "head" and another one in the minigun) and laser sights.

The twin rotors guarantee a exceptional maneuverability and great agility in the air. It can land using the missile pods as landing "legs".

REAL NICE! I always wanted to do something like that, mine is kind of like the warhammer40k blight drone though. You've nailed it this time brah!

Oh, didn't noticed the W40k Blight drone also had side rotors like that... I took some inspiration in Command & Conquer helicopters =D

Well, its just a small drone, not much to detail as most of the drone is encased by armor =D

I know its a drone, but it still comes off as too stubby. Lengthen the tail perhaps?

Well, it have to be compact to maneuver better, fit small spaces and land in harsh conditions, as jungle and rocks. A bit tail would just make hard for the drone to ambush targets or travel inside a forest =D

I'm merely stating that the rear fan wouldn't really be able to steer it if the air flow passes right under the main fans

Well, it can turn by changing the side-rotors angle too...

then why is the rear fan there if it's not necessary? just trying to find the functionality of the unit

Well, it can stabilize the drone if one rotor fails or is damaged, at least stabilize time enough for it to land...

And it also can move the drone sideways when its landed. =D

But most of times its just to stay pretty there =D
