Description
I sculpted some single piece set 40k civilians last year to test my casting and molding skills. And, of course, to use them in game as objectives.
Most of my miniatures are "desert-themed" as a lazy way to not cleaning them very often and leaving dust and sand to deposit naturally over them while still looking good. So I decided to make these civilians a lot "arab themed" (and the news about Syrian refugees gave me some inspiration...)
The originals are well stored and unpainted, and these ones are all acrylic resin casts. The process was a bit more successful than the orks, obliterators and mutilators but still got a lot of bubbles, miscast and distortions. The pieces too damaged to be repaired I intent to use as smashed statues or stuff like that in the future.
For this one I put together some civillian techpriests, grabbing copies of the sacred STC in external HDs, and some more normal people
